Jennifer Olivieri watches the Hull Youth Football practice at the L Street Field with the eagerness of any football mom. She cringes when a receiver drops an easy reception and pumps her fists after a defender makes an open-field tackle.
Olivieri, 36, might look like any other parent lined up along the practice field next to Hull Memorial Middle School, but she isn’t just any football mom. She’s the head coach.

Jennifer Olivieri and Kimberly Boroyan flew to Austin, TX on July 26, 2009 to participate in the 2009 IWFL All-Star game during Championship Weekend.
With an undefeated regular season, the Boston Militia Women's Football Team won the Independent Women's Football League Divisional Playoffs against the Dallas Diamonds. They played a great game in the Conference Championship, but to the DC Divas. After the game, several team members were awarded 2009 IWFL All-Star Honors.

The 2009 Women's Football Season came to an end with the Militia's annual end-of-season banquet. The coaches gave out several individual honors to members of the team in recognizing their efforts throughout the season.
