Once again the offensive and defensive lines of the Boston Militia Women's Football Team led a strong running and passing attack and provided the power to overwhelm the previous unbeaten Philadelphia Belles by a score of 59-0.

The Militia offensive game was lead by Whitney Zelee with 158 yards in the running game in 14 carries and 3 receptions for 85 yards for the day. Zelee had touchdown runs of 17, 4 and 11 yards, caught passes of 65 and 18 yards for touchdowns, and ran in a 2 point conversion accounting for 243 total offensive yards for the day while contributing 5 touchdowns and 2-point conversion for 32 points for the day.

Stacey Tiamfook continued her strong running game with 7 carries for 92 yards and a TD on a 10 yard run.

Also, chipping in to the running game were Amy Saur with 3 yards, Asia Landrum gained 17 and Allison Cahill added 7. For the day, the ground game racked up 291 yards.

Allison Cahill tossed 9 of 12 completions with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception for 171 yards and converted two 2-point pass conversions after TD’s.

Adrienne Smith caught a behind the scrimmage lateral toss from Cahill and fired a 40 yard TD pass to Amy Saur.

Lucia Robinson completed a 5 yard pass to Asia Landrum for a late game TD for the Militia.

The Offensive line once again leads the Boston Militia running game and was led by Amanda Alpert, Kehinda Oshodi, Beth Kaleta, Stephanie Jeffers, Sherese Woodfine and Emily Weinberg.

The Militia converted four 2-point conversations on the day with runs by Zellee, Landrum and passes from Cahill to Weinberg and Kate Slack.

Others contributing to the Offensive display were Kathryn Tylander , Amy Saur and Emily Weinberg with 2 receptions each and also catching passes were Kate Slack, Asia Landrum, and Adrienne Smith.

The Militia Defense completely shut down the Belles offense. Defensive leaders for the Militia were Jennifer Olivieri with 6 tackles, 2 for losses and one sack. Becky Snow had 6 tackles. Jay Hodge blocked a punt attempt that went out of the end zone for a Safety. Other strong performers on the defense were Alicia Harris and Kristen Sarson with 4 tackles each and Kimberly Fillion forced a fumble.

Making two tackles each for losses for the Militia were Hodge, Deirdre Hiort, Molly Goodwin, Raxan English , and Jennifer Olivieri

Hiort, Olivieri and English also made huge sacks for the Militia defense keeping pressure on the Belles quarterback throughout the game.
