The Boston Militia Women's Football team has issued new equipment forms for the 2012 season. Be sure to download the forms and get the signed copies to General Manager Frank Ferrelli before the first practice.
The Boston Militia Women's Professional Tackle Football Team conducted its initial rookie tryout women's football practice on 12/5/11 at the Turf Time in Tewksbury. The all rookie session went well and had a decent turnout. The women's football rookies were met by the Boston Militia Coaching Staff and put through a variety of exercises and drills that the team would be doing at each practice.

Chairman and CEO of the Boston Militia, Ernie Boch, Jr., visited the Somerville Mayor's office with members of the Women's Professional Tackle Football Team and staff to receive a Council of Aldermen's Citation.
Children's hospital decided to do an article on Beth Kaleta and the Boston Militia Women's Professional Tackle Football Team after they won the national championship! Beth works as a lab manager and research technician in George Daley’s laboratory at Children's Hospital Boston, but after work, she heads to Dilboy Stadium in Somerville, dons pads and a helmet, and takes her place on the Boston Militia Women's Football Team offensive line. The setting was great: The 12,000 seat Pennington High School Stadium in Bedford, Texas. Temperatures were in the high nineties and the field temperature at game time was well over 100 degrees. The Women’s Football Alliance stage was set for a football match-up between the American Conference Champions, the 11-0 San Diego Surge, and the National Conference Champions, the 10-1 Boston Militia, with the winner to take home the WFA National Championship trophy.

Women's Football Alliance President, Mr. Jeff King, announced the WFA All American teams for the American and National Conferences for 2011. The Women's Football Alliance consists of 60 teams and over 2000 players competing for spots. The Boston Militia has placed 6 players on the first team All American squad of the National Conference and two players on the Second Team.
