Boston Militia Staff, 12/9/2011
The Boston Militia women's football team conducted its initial rookie tryout practice on 12/5/11 at the Turf Time in Tewksbury. The all rookie session went well and had a decent turnout. A number of rookies who expressed an interest in participating had a conflict in schedules and could not make this session. Those that were present were met by the Boston Militia Coaching Staff and put through a variety of exercises and drills that the team would be doing at each practice. The rookies performed very well considering that most of them have never gone through this type of exercise and drills. Everyone enjoyed the session and look forward to continue participation.
The next session for NEW women's football players will be conducted on Thursday, December 15, from 8 to 10pm at Turf Time in Tewksbury. This session is open to all women over the age of 18 who are interested in playing women's full contact football against some of the best teams in the United States.
